Congratulations to Salisa Hauptmann of Morrisville, NC on the purchase of Atlantic Ridge aka “Ridge”. He will be boarding at Bits & Bytes Farm for a month and then going to his new home near Raleigh, NC. It is always an option for our buyers to send their new horses to Bits & Bytes Farm to help them make the transition from race horse to sport horse or for the new owner to get some tips on riding an OTTB.
If you missed out on this pretty chestnut, we have another one for you to check out – “Copy”. “Copy” is a 16.2 hand liver chestnut who is on his owner’s farm in Tennessee. He has had a little bit of training after leaving race training. He was not much of a race horse never winning a race in 29 starts but he should make a great competition horse for jumping and dressage. He has a bigger than life personality and his owner just loves him. They are getting out of racing and downsizing their herd. We will have some more horses listed soon from the same owner.
