“Special” FREE HORSE

Special Bill will turn three on Wednesday – if he is still alive.

On Saturday Special Bill fractured his sesamoid bone in his front ankle. His best hope for a recovery is to put a screw into the bone to hold the pieces together while it heals. His racing owner does not have the resources to fix the bone and he will never be sound for racing. He will be a light riding horse after he is given time to heal. He needs to find a home fast or he will be put down. If you know of anyone with the resources to help this horse, please call ASAP. It was his vet that asked us to find a home for him. He is a very quiet chestnut colt who is about 15.3 hands tall. He will need stall rest for a few months and then turn out. Please spread the word. We will have photos tomorrow. Special Bill is FREE if you can help save him.
