UPDATE: January 12, 2012 – El Bomba just ran and WON in his 100th race!
This horse is still sound at 13!!!

“Bomba” is 1999, 15.3 hand and one half inch, bay, Thoroughbred gelding for sale. He is ready for a new career and, yes, he is being retired SOUND! This horse has raced for 10 successful years and doesn’t have a single blemish bump pimple or anything else on his legs. He loves to run long distances — 1 mile and 3/4 or even 2 miles. He was very successful running on the turf. Has had same owner trainer almost all of his race career. “Bomba” is kind,  very laid back and he is a nice mover. His only groom of his whole race career says you can turn your grand kids loose around him and he will just stand there to be loved and petted on. He has no vices and no bad habits. He has actually been galloped by the same exercise rider for most of his career as well.

“Bomba” is the barn pet and the barn favorite. He is a parrot mouth but his trainer says it does not affect him nor has he ever coliced or had any other health issues. If you missed out on T K’s Turn or Atlantic Ridge – this is the guy you want. He can do anything you want — trail ride, show or anything else. This is a great family horse or even a competition horse. If he is sound now, I doubt any off-the-track type riding can injure this horse.
