“Teddy” is a 16′3 hand, 2000 Thoroughbred gelding. Yes, 10 but he is retiring SOUND. He has made over $233,000 in his career and his owner has decided it is time to look for a home for him before something bad happens to him. “Teddy” is a gentle giant who quietly marches to the racetrack, bows his head and does his job. He is clean legged — yes not a bump on this old warrior. When they run this late in their careers they are running because they still have heart and are still sound because their confirmation is good. He is a very kind and big horse who doesn’t do anything wrong.He has a huge stride and would make a great field hunter or 3-day event horse. Don’t let his age scare you he has ton of life left in him and has a ton of athletic ability. He is well priced because he is older.
