Just a quick note on Hillbilly (Jed is his barn name). He is quite a card.
Hillbilly Castle aka "Jed" is enjoying his new life as a regular old "Horse."
Giving him three months to chill was a great success. Jed is a big puppy (so far) that is totally confident of his people and surroundings. He is out in a big pasture with three other TBs. The vet has had to come see us a few times as he was convinced they are all his chews toys and they didn’t always agree. Thus I had to delay riding him for a few weeks but they have all settled down and the wraps have come off (three horses)!!!!
His lunge work is very balanced and floaty. He has no problems on either side. I rode him yesterday for the first time. Today he tried to give the impression that he has been doing this all the time. It was raining outside so he was in the indoor.
All the best, Margo

Hi Elizabeth,
Margo asked me to send these shots of Hillbilly to you. They were taken this morning. His curiosity is quite keen and he learns and reacts according to others. Thus, he fits in very well and has already figured out the daily routine. We do not think he misses the track at all.
All the best,
King

Hi Elizabeth,
Just a quick note to let you know that Hillbilly has arrived and is settled in for the night. So far he is very relaxed - will see in the a.m. He has such a nice eye and is very handsome. I will write you later and take pictures.
Thanks again,
Margo
