Directions to the University of Georgia (UGA)
from Bits & Bytes Farm

  • Go right out of the driveway on Owens Store Road
  • Turn right onto East Cherokee.
  • Go to GA Hwy 20 and turn left at the traffic light.
  • Stay on GA Hwy 20 to Hwy 369 and turn left onto 369.
  • Follow Hwy 369 to Gainesville. (About 33 miles.)
  • Turn right onto 129 at the Best Western - Lanier Centre Hotel.
  • Continue on 129 to I85 (about 16.3 miles.)
  • Continue over I85 and stay on129 to Athens. (About 25 miles).
  • When you cross over Loop 10 you will go one block and make a left turn back onto the Loop 10 going North. (It is also still 129).
  • Stay on Loop 10 to the Watkinsville Exit which will keep you on the inner loop.
  • Continue on Loop 10 until you come to College Station Rd.
  • Exit onto College Station Rd. and drive through one traffic light to the second traffic light.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto East Campus Rd. (railroad tracks at light).
  • Look for the white fencing on the left about 400 yards down the road. The Large Animal Clinic driveway is on the left, before the first light.
  • Once inside, drive to the right to the building at the top of the hill. There are signs to follow.
  • Pull up to the breezeway in the back of the clinic.
