Former Prospect Horse for sale - Coin Maker has a new mom!

"Coin" - SOLD! Congratulations to Leslie Durham-Dixon.

"Coin" is a gentle, 15'2 hh 6 year- old gelding. His owner/breeder says his heart is as big as his body. "Coin" made all his money at the bottom and gave everything he had in every race. He has a Quarter Horse build but he is a flashy mover. He loves to have his head rubbed and will stand with his eyes closed as you do it. He will fit into anyone's program without a problem. "Coin" retired sound from racing - his legs are blemish free. He has been living on his owner/breeder's farm in Kentucky and he is now ready for a new career. "Coin" is Bargain Barn priced for a quick sale. If you are price sensitive and still need a sound horse call ASAP on "Coin".

"Coin" is a grandson of Halo and Mt. Livermore. Also in his pedigree are: Hail to Reason, Blushing Groom, Turn-To and Ribot.

Ribot was bred by Federico Tesio who will undoubtedly be remembered as the greatest Thoroughbred breeder of the 20th century. If you are into breeding you might enjoy reading, Breeding the Racehorse by Federico Tesio. The blood of the horses he bred is found in about 75% of today's Thoroughbreds.

"Coin" is well priced for the bargain hunter who needs a sound horse.
"Coin" reminds us of Charlie when he came to the farm. Go to Charlie's horse for sale pages to see how he changed with training and weight.

"Coin" is a gentle, 15'2 hh 6 yrear- old gelding.
"Coin" is a gentle, 15'2 hh 6 yrear- old gelding. He has been out to pasture enjoying being a horse so he is wooly. When he is racing fit he looks like Charlie and So Romeo. He is a gorgeous black gelding.

"Coin" is seen here in the winners circle in January 2006 with Julien Leparoux who is the leading jockey in the country by number of wins and winner of the national best jockey title and the apprentice Eclipse Award.
