Ace's Angel
We have another horse that I think will make a great horse for a Pony Clubber or small adult. She is nine years old and about 15.1 hands. Ace's Angel is a beautiful bay with lovely movement. She is Joe Bear in a smaller package at a smaller price, too!
Angel came off the track in August of 2003. She raced until she was eight and she is sound! I love it when they are racing later in life as it shows a well built horse that has remained sound even while working hard for a living. She came to us in poor condition and she has blossomed into a gorgeous horse.
Her gaits are smooth and she is very willing. Sheloves to jump over all kinds of fences -- including cross-country fences. She tucks and jumps with pleasure and drops back to a trot on the other side of the fence. Angel has great potential and deserves to have a rider who will bring out her best and make her very successful in her new career.
Current Training
- She has had almost a year of training under saddle in the arena and on the trails - walk trot and canter and over all types of fences.
- She has a big shoulder which makes for great movement for dressage.
- She loves to jump cross country fences. She sees them and takes you to them!
- She is not spooked by bulldozers or large grading equipment or jumps in the arena.
- She has a lovely collected canter and a beautiful floaty trot.
- Angel has the potential to do very well in dressage or eventing.
- She is mostly ridden in a snaffle bit.
- Angel will make a great partner for a smaller rider that loves to run and jump. She very brave and willing.
- She loads and travels well.
- She is good with the farrier.
