BaileysontherocksBaileys will make a great horse for a Pony Clubber or small adult. He is seven years old and about 15.1 hands but big in the barrel. Baileysontherocks is a very well-built chestnut with a big blaze. He has an incredible extended trot in the pasture. He will make an awesome dressage or event horse. We purchased Bailey directly from his breeder/trainer off their farm. His breeder loves him very much and was reluctant to let him go because she wants him to go to a good home. She also will share his entire background with anyone who buys him and wants to keep in touch and see how he does in his new life. He came off the track due to age (six is old for a race horse) and with him being so small he did not have the stride to compete against the bigger horses. He has been away from the track for almost three years. He is totally sound and has not been retired due to an injury. The breeder's farm is incredible with a extremely large indoor arena with rubber footing and an indoor walker. There is also a swimming pool for the horses. This horse was well loved and cared for. I wish all the horses I bought came from this environment. My first ride on Bailey was in our arena with lots of colorful jumps and a construction zone next door. (They are building a middle school 50 feet off our property line). He never spooked at any of the fences and he willingly walked over rails on the ground. The noise from the construction zone next door did not affect him either. He never tried to take off and he has a great mouth. I even urged him on to see if it would get him excited and pull and he did not. Bailey is a snuggler and gives good kisses. He is the perfect horse for a confident Pony Clubber or smaller rider who really wants to compete and win. He will make a very good event horse. Bailey has the stride of a larger horse with the agility of a small horse. He is fearless and Bailey is one of our favorite horses to ride in the arena or on the trails. He is not for a timid rider though. Bailey needs someone to tell him who is in charge and then he listens well. He has a good mouth and will canter on the buckel. A couple good half halts and he is doing the most wonderful collected canter on a loose rein. Bailey wants to be an event horse! He has gotten his trot lengthened, instead of quickened, and he has locked his sights onto the jumps. Rachael and I worked him over ground pole grids and x-rail grids often. Rachael does the hard work of riding while I change up the distances. Bailey is very smooth and rhythmical in his gaits. The first time we put his training to the test and asked him to jump some of the larger fences in the arena he jumped x-rails and then the barrels, the coop, the roll top and then the gate. He never hesitated at a single fence. Current Training
