Joe
Bear - SOLD!
Joe Bear has classic
elegant thoroughbred looks. He could be your next equitation or dressage
horse. Joe Bear has fill out more and loves being a sport horse instead
of a race horse. Joe Bear has a great personality and is extremely intelligent.
He has competed in one combined test (dressage/cross country) and he finished
second.
Joe
Bear is a very elegant mover. Safe, sane and sound. He was fully vet checked
and x-rayed at the track where is was only lightly raced. Joe Bear reminds
us of Fame. They both have the same quiet, can do attitude and they are
both Alydar grandbabies.
Joe
Bear was born at the famous Pillar Stud in Kentucky and was sold as a
yearly at the prestigious Keeneland Yearling Sales. He was just too laid
back to enjoy racing.
Current Training
- Joe
Bear is light in the mouth and he comes into a proper frame with little
effort.
- Quiet
and sane - he was a perfect gentleman from the first day off the track
- He
willingly jumped cross-rails the first day and has shown himself to
be bold over x-country type fences.
- He
is jumping3' fences in the arena and x-country
- He
enjoys his gymnastics over x-rails.
- He is a dressage star - He was the champion
of his division at his last schooling show.
- Joe
Bear has been on many trips away from the farm for schooling and is
always a pleasure to ride.
- He
yields to your leg and is naturally balanced.
- He
is ridden in a French link snaffle bit.
- Joe
Bear is a "Special Reserve"
horse.
