Knight Villain - SOLD!Knight VillainKnight Villain (aka "Good Knight - the Gentle Giant") . This horse has real class and style. He is a stakes winner of almost $293,000! He has clean legs at nine, which tells you how well put together he is. I love finding older horses still racing. If they retire sound from racing at nine, you know they have no conformation problems that would lead to unsoundness. Foaling date:
January 9, 1995 Here is his background: "Knight" is a Black Type Stakes winning grandson of Mr. Prospector who is by Raise a Native, by Native Dancer. His pedigree reads like the "Who's who" of Thoroughbred racing. Other famous horses in his pedigree include: Nashua, Nasrullah, Triple Crown winner Count Fleet (both sides of his pedigree), Bold Ruler, Miss Disco, Polynesian, Northern Dancer, Nearctic and Natalma. Click here to see his pedigree. Knight Villain's photo pages 1, 2, 3, 4 Era of Chanago - SOLD!
Era of Chanago been one of Elizabeth's special reserve horses. These horses have received extra training and attention and therefore are priced higher than most horses on at our farm. Chanago is one of the horses that Elizabeth has fox hunted and ridden for her personal pleasure.
Era of Chanago has good breeding including: Nashua (both dam and sire), Raise a Native, My Babu, Native Dancer (both dam and sire), Nashrulla, Hyperion, Nearco, Polynesian (both dam and sire) and Petrify. Chanago is strongly built with a big chest and barrel. He can carry a larger rider. He has a large trot and really uses his back end. He loves to jump and is brave cross-country. Chanago is well mannered in the hunt field. Just twelve days off-the-track he was competing in the Shakerag Hounds Hunter Trials. He rode in a Trail Class where he performed beautifully. Read about it here.
Chanago also attended the Shakerag Hounds 2003 Opening Hunt as his first fox hunt in November less than two months off-the-track. See photos here. Chanago also enjoyed a large Novice Hunt with Shakerag Hounds in January 2004. He has been on Hunter Paces and trail rides and is always a pleasure to ride. See Era of Chanago's photo page.
