Joe Kelly's Tune - SOLD!
Joe Kelly's Tune is a five year old 16.1+ bay gelding. He was a prospect horse but now he is at our farm! He finished fourth in his last race on May 11th.
Joe Kelly is a lover and is quick to put his head into your chest so that you can rub his ears and kiss his forehead. He LOVES peppermints and is a complete gentleman while waiting for us to remove the wrappers. He has not given us any problems while riding him and this was even before he was turned out to pasture to be let down. He is now enjoying the company of Brewster while enjoying our grass pastures so we expect he will only get better.
Joe Kelly's Tune might be your next "A" show hunter. He is quiet in the arena and on the trails. He trots with his head down on a loose rein. Joe Kelly has an easy going head low canter with being ridden on the buckle. He comes down to a walk with verbal commands alone.
Current Training
- Currently going quietly under saddle in the arena and on the trails - walk trot and canter.
- Jumping x-country fences and fences in the arena. He shows great potential as an event horse.
- He stands quietly while being shod.
- He gets along with other horses in the pasture.
- He is quiet on the trails - even when other horses spook.
- He willing crossed the water the first time out of the arena.
- Joe Kelly stepped over logs and ditches without getting upset.
- He is ridden in a snaffle bit.
- Loads easily in the trailer.
- Joe Kelly loves attention and comes when called by name.
August 1, 2004 Joe Kelly's Tune starts his new career with Rosemarie.
