Boltoflighting aka "Lucky"
Lucky is a horse whos talent is being wasted here at the farm. He will jump anything and he is a gorgeous dressage mover. He would win any open jumper class if he had a fearless rider. Lucky has proven himself to be brave and bold. He is not spooked by anything in or out of the arena. He is very forward and ready to please.
On the ground, Lucky is like a big puppy dog. He has a great personality and really enjoys being brushed. His most favorite thing is to roll in the shavings pile. See Lucky rolling in the shavings pile on his page two of photos!
Current Training
- Lucky has the talent to excel in eventing or open jumping. He is bold and willing.
- Currently going quietly under saddle in the arena and on the trails - walk trot and canter.
- He is doing lateral dressage work with ease.
- Lucky loves x-country fences including ditches, banks and water. He has never refused a fence!
- He is not spooked by bulldozers or large grading equipment or jumps in the arena.
- He jumps over flower boxes and cross rails without a second glance.
- He is jumping all our cross country fences on our trails.
- Natural carriage and balance.
- He is ridden in a snaffle bit and has the softest mouth and he is very light in your hands but he is forward moving. A quick correction and he settles down and he is light in your hands.
- Lucky loves to jump and will jump a four foot fence!
- Lucky has the personality of a big golden retriever.
