Welcome to Bits & Bytes Farm

Welcome to Bits & Bytes Farm on the Web. Take a virtual tour of the farm and see the beautiful thoroughbreds we have for sale. Follow their training and learn how we bring them from racetrack to a new career in the show ring, fox hunting or eventing.

Spring Break at Bits & Bytes Farm

Spring break may be a break from school but it means more time at the barn. Elizabeth had three slaves for the week to help her get caught up on all the chores. Rachael, Mandy and Jessica worked hard around the farm and at their riding during the week. Lessons continued with Elizabeth and Imtiaz Anees with the girls each riding several horses a day.

Even the girls' moms helped out with the farm chores. We will be able to enjoy fresh vegetables and flowers this summer thanks to the work and plants of Jessica's mom Elaine and Mandy's mom Jan. June (Rachael's mom) took over the running the farm for entire weekend so that Barry and Elizabeth could visit family in Virginia for Easter. All this was documented by Rachael's brother Brett who is the backup photographer at the farm when Elizabeth is away.

Speaking of photography, Elizabeth has a new Canon EOS SLR digital camera that takes photos with incredible details. It works with her telephoto lens from her film Canon EOS camera. She is available for photo shoots at your farm. A portrait of your favorite horse might just make the perfect Mother's Day gift. Elizabeth is also able to help get your equine business on the Web with your own Web site. Read more about our photography services and Web design services.

We're pleased to be notified that the Bits & Bytes Farm Web site has been selected as the Let It Ride.com Site of the Day for 10 April 2004. Call or come by for a visit

Please call us to discuss which horse might be the best match for you based on riding skill, experience and equine personality. We do not send out videos because it is important to match the personality of the horse with the personality of the rider. We are matchmakers, not horse brokers. We have horses in a wide price range. Call us to discuss prices or to schedule an appointment. We'd love to have you come meet all of our horses--we know that it will be worth your time. Just bring peppermints!
