My Sparky Boy was one of our 25 Special Horses. Melanie and Tim O'Donnell purchased him with the plan of finding him a permanent home. They hired Jennifer Crafton to train "Sparky" for resale. Three generations of horsewomen trained "Sparky" and fell in love with his work ethic and sensible personality. My Sparky Boy will remain at Bits & Bytes Farm. Watch for great Success Stories and photos!

My Sparky Boy is learning to jump lines and gates. He will make a great horse for a young rider.
My Sparky Boy is being ridden by young riders. Jennifer and Jessica Crafton are helping to train My Sparky Boy at Bits & Bytes Farm. He is extremely quiet and will make an awesome children's hunter.
Melanie O'Donnell purchased My Sparky Boy (see his Prospect page) when Eddy's Departure was put on hold for another buyer. Melanie O'Donnell had spoken to us about buying two older horses: Eddy's Departure and Thistle. She also bought Violet Maewon (My Sparky Boy's dam) for her daughter Kate. When another buyer put Eddy's Departure on hold, Melanie agreed to purchase My Sparky Boy instead. Later, Eddy's Departure's buyer changed her mind and Eddy became available for Melanie to purchase.
My Sparky Boy has a very balanced canter and a light mouth. January 28, 2006
My Sparky Boy was a younger horse than Melanie wanted and she decided he should be trained and placed in a home that would take advantage of his youth and talent. That is how he has come to be at Bits & Bytes Farm for training and resale. UPDATE: SOLD!March 20, 2006 to Jennifer and Jessica Crafton. See story above.
