Barbo
Barbo has a great personality. He talks to you and bobs his head and
then his whole body when he wants your attention doing what we call the
"Barbo Bebop". He is a real character. Barbo loves to trail ride and
he is good over small jumps. Barbo floats when he canters . He is an
extremely well balanced horse. Barbo has a weak stifle so we do not want
to sell him to a serious show or jumping home. The more work Barbo gets,
the better his stifle. It does not slow him down at all. We often use
Barbo for less experienced "Friends" to learn on. We are in no hurry
to sell this boy as he is a favorite with everyone who meets him. If
you want a horse that wants to be a part of your family and not a fancy
show horse - Barbo might be a match. We will only sell him to someone
who will love him as much as we do.
Current Training
Barbo is wonderful!
He loves jumping small fences and seems to be a natural.
Barbo is great on trail rides and he was totally quiet and
well behaved even on his first trail ride.
He loads with easily onto the trailer.
Barbo has a great mind and a loving personality.
Barbo has had all kinds of riders on him (including Mr. Bones)and
he is quiet and safe.
Barbo and Lise getting ready for Halloween. Barbo
is an OTTB who is totally quiet and sweet. He is not at all concerned
with the giant spider climbing up his neck of course he could just be
so "into" his wig that he doesn't notice. - October 23, 2005
Barbo was a clown for Halloween. Those are real paint dots on his body!- October 30, 2005
