There is often a large support team that shows up whenever a member of Bits & Bytes Farm chooses to compete. It is usually an excuse to have another party.

Many of our boarders started out as "Friends of Bits & Bytes Farm". Then they fell in love and met their "Perfect Match". Mamie Kerr fell in love with Queen's Rowdy Lad when he became in desperate need of a new home. She purchased "Rowdy" and brought him back to Bits & Bytes Farm where he started his career off-the-track in 2001. - August 2007
boarders & friends at Bits & Bytes Farm |
Boarding > our boarders & friendsWe have lots of fun at the farm. No one takes themselves too seriously. Everyone shares the same passion and desire to learn and enjoy with their horses. The environment at the farm is one of support rather than competition with one another. You can always count on anyone at the farm to lead a hand, offer a helpful suggestion or assist with the care of your horse. Here are some photos of our current and past boarders and their horses.
Some of our boarders like to compete but there is no pressure to do so at our farm.
Many of our boarders help us train and exercise our off-the-track Thoroughbreds that we have for sale. There is always a horse available if your horse is unable to be ridden.
Each year we do many group activities for fun. 2005 started out with the first annual Thoroughbreds' birthday party. We played games and shared birthday cake.
We dressed the horses up for the contest and even the newest Thoroughbreds off-the-track were not upset by the garlands and bells they were adorned with. Click here to read the full story and see more photos. We often go to "away" events which include: trail rides, hunter paces, poker rides, fox hunting, horse shows and combined training events. Each event usually includes a full picnic lunch. We often say, "No one goes away hungry at Bits & Bytes Farm".
Please stop by and introduce yourself and share our food if you see our group out somewhere.
Many of our boarders chose to compete but there is never any pressure to do so. You should enjoy your horse in whatever way you prefer!
