Pearl D`Azur

Pearl D'Azur has been retired from racing since December 2003. He retired sound and is still sound for a new career as a sport horse. He is such a class act, we just had to offer him for sale. He is too pretty and sound to be retired on a farm. He was purchased by Nicole Tatusko but he is not the best match for her so he is offered for sale again.

He is incredibly well bred having Danzig as his grandsire on the top line and Alydar on the bottom. Click here to see his pedigree. He was foaled in Kentucky at Darley Stud. He was sent to Ireland as a yearling and did not start his race career in England until he was three. At four he moved to Dubai. He was owned by a sheik and raced in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates at five and six. Pearl returned to the United States at seven and continued his racing career until he was ten. I like horses that are still racing later in life and have remained sound.

Dead gorgeous does not begin to tell you how pretty this horse is. He is 16.2 and solidly built. He is a lot of horse and he has a great personality. He would be for a serious rider who wants to win.
